Free Bus Rides

The free trolley is an easy and convenient way to get around Wilmington’s historic downtown. It runs on a route bordered by Fourth and Nutt Streets to the East and West, and Davis and Ann streets to the North and South. The free trolley serves City and County parking decks, Thalian Hall, Cape Fear Community College, PPD, the Community Health Center and many shops and restaurants.

The free trolley runs seven days a week, with the exception of the following holidays: New Year’s Day; Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; Easter; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving; & Christmas. Service runs Monday – Friday from 7:20 am to 9:20 pm, on Saturdays from 11:00 am to 9:20 pm, and Sundays from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Frequency of the trolley is approximately every ten minutes on weekdays and every twenty minutes on weekends.
